About the Author
Jacqueline ‘Jake’ McCall is a displaced Texan, living on a farm in Central Florida. Raised as an only child by a single mother, she was often left alone. To fill her time, she picked up reading. When hyper fixating on characters wasn’t enough, she started creating her own. Like her characters, she never pulls punches. Preferring to write characters that aren’t being rescued by the knight on the white horse, but rather a beaten, bloody, morally gray savior.
Basically nocturnal, she prefers long naps behind blackout curtains and energy drinks. She can never remember keyboard shortcuts and hates when her phone updates. When not writing, she enjoys riding her horses, being judged by cats, and cursing.

“I bleed, I breathe, I live for you. This scar is proof of everything you are to me. I wear you on my skin like I have you in my heart.”

“…light, funny, sweet, and tender but also contains just enough drama and suspense to keep you biting your nails, especially at the end!”
Review for Delta Delta Flyboy

“This is truly one of the best stories I’ve ever read. There’s such feeling, such emotion, and grit to the characters. We watch them suffer and bleed, cry for them and sometimes with them, and we are rewarded when we see them rally and win. I love stories that get to me so much that I have to toss the book aside for a moment…then scramble to pick it back up again because I have to know what happens next!”
